Diocese of Fall River, East Sandwich, MA

Back in 1970’s, the parishioners of Corpus Christi left their small Victorian church in the town center and moved to a forty-acre campus a few miles away. They first built a parish center, where they worshipped for many years in a multi-purpose hall. When the time finally came to build a church, they abandoned the 1970’s design in favor of a spacious Romanesque structure, cruciform in plan and clad in rose-toned brick. For the interior, we designed a marble altar, immersion font, and other furnishings, and the parish commissioned sculpture and stained glass from distinguished European artists.
